If there was one conference to attend in Brussels this year, I’d probably pick Plugg, organized by Robin.

First of all, there’s an interesting list of start-ups pitching. The overall entrances (over 120) were quite impressive, and the top20 that will pitch is pretty cool (I’m on the Start-up jury-list).

But most of all, the speaker list is interesting and different than most web-conferences. On the agenda there are: 2 of the most influential Belgian innovators who are very respected abroad (Dries Buyttaert en Bart Decrem); people from Google, Sun and some others; ‘not the usual conference presenters’ from MADS, Cubic Telecom and Dopplr; someone from Atlas Ventures, Quint and Immaculada from Stradbroke Advisors (very interested in her views – also because I, … well … , ehhmm…, whatever…)

If you’re from Belgium or 2000km’s around it, and interested in start-ups, innovation and learning, this will be quite worth it.
